The 26th Annual We Believe in Children 5K Run & Health Fair is a family-friendly event open to all walkers and runners who want to support public education and stronger communities in Escambia County.  In January 2012, over 600 runners and walkers joined the Foundation in support of public education.  Funds raised from the We Believe in Children 5K are used to support Foundation programs such as Grants for Excellence teacher grants for innovative classroom projects, Take Stock in Children, which provides mentors and college scholarships to students from low-income families, and additional educational initiatives not funded by tax dollars.
The accompanying Health Fair, organized by the Foundation and the ECCPTA, includes complimentary samples, demonstrations, entertainment, educational opportunities, and more!
