Cat Pak Morning Show 5am-10am
Reese
Andrews started her radio career in 1986 as a college intern at KRBE
FM in
Houston, Texas. She produced the number one rated morning show with
Ted Carson
and Paul Christy and later produced the evening drive show for up-and-coming
jock,
Elvis Duran. After college, she continued working on-air, in promotions,
and headed
up the station's music research department.
An opportunity to work in news lead Reese to Conroe, Texas where she
worked for
KIKR AM as the News Director covering a tri-county area.
Reese married her college sweetheart, JD, moved to Pensacola, and took
a break
from radio for a few years while her kids were little. "Radio
is awesome, but I
wanted to raise my kids and be a total hands-on mom," she says, "I
wouldn't have
missed the joy of changing diapers, cleaning up messes, wiping runny
noses, or ...
hey, wait a minute ..."
Reese got back in the game when, as she puts it, when her kids could
fend for
themselves "and have dinner on the table for me when I get home." She brings her energy, sense of humor, and love of Country music to
Cat Country
every morning as part of the Cat Pak Morning Show.
"
I love Country music and I love Pensacola!" Reese says, "So
this gig is a win-win for
me. And, yes, my dinner is ready when I get home. I raised 'em right!"
