Born and raised in Modesto, California, Brent started working on-air at KTRB 860am at age 14, while he was in highschool. By age 18, Brent joined Kat Country 103 and beginning to do voice over work professionally. At Modesto Junior College in 1992 at KRJC, Brent did his first morning show. In August of 1994, Brent moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University and finish his B.A. Brent started working at San Diego’s #1 Country station KSON and in the Fall of 1996, became the Morning Show Producer/Side-kick at sister station Oldies 94.9. In 1998, Brent finished his MA and Master’s Thesis at San Diego State University, where he was also an adjunct Professor in the Communications Department.

After 11 years in San Diego at KSON, Brent and his wife Angela moved their 3 children to Pensacola and have been blessed ever since. They are actively involved in the community. Brent served as the 2011 President of Manna Food Pantries Board of Directors. Angela is a member of Impact 100, and both work hard for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and the American Cancer Society. Brent can be heard every morning on the Cat Pak Morning Show with his partner Candy.
