Born and raised in Arkansas, Bo Dalton began his radio career as a part-time air talent in 1995 at Real Country 104.9. During that time, he also worked at KMCK in Fayetteville, AR as a part-time air talent. In 1996, Dalton was hired by heritage CHR KMCK Power 105.7 to join their morning show. In 1998, Dalton moved to Jonesboro, AR where he began hosting The KISS FM morning show. In 2000, Bo moved to Greenville, South Carolina and joined market leader WSSL, and The Bo Show was born. In 2007, Dalton joined the Jonesboro Radio Group; recently doing the afternoon drive show on KDXY 104.9 The Fox, where he has garnered the top rankings in the market.
In addition to his weekday program, Dalton added a weekend local music show to his resume. The Front Porch with Bo Dalton, an hour long program that not only highlights local performer’s music, but also tells their stories. The show was created by Dalton and goes outside the music to share conversations with the artists and is unlike any other local show ever created. The show was picked up for television by Ritter Communications in 2014 for their cable network, which airs in Arkansas, Tennessee, and Missouri.
Outside the studio, Bo spends a lot of time with his wife, Rhonda, and 3 Cocker Spaniels and is very active in the photography world. He also enjoys exercising, reading, flying drones, and, of course, listening to music. His favorite artists include Gary Allan, Eric Church, Bobby Pinson, Justin Moore, and, undoubtedly, King George.
