» Taylor Swift Into “Shady Guys”
Taylor Swift is on the cover of the November issue of InStyle, and says, surprisingly, she’s attracted to guys who have a shady side. a
Taylor, who has the image of being a good girl, says, “My friends tease me about the fact that if someone seems bad or shady or like they have a secret, I find them incredibly interesting. That’s just a phase I’ve been in lately. I don’t think this should be how I proceed in life. It’s important to be self-aware about these things because you don’t want to end up with that guy.”
Trouble in relationships is nothing new to her but, she says she’s learned a lot from things going wrong saying, “Sometimes you know after two dates that you’re not the right fit. And sometimes you know you’re not the right fit, and you fall for it anyway.” She continues, “One thing I’ve learned that I’m proud of — drum roll, please — is when to walk away. I’ve had some short relationships because I know when to do that.”
She’s also aware of the fact that every guy she has lunch with, smiles at, or just makes eye contact with will start the rumor mills turning, she says she’s determined to have guy friends which is something they’re going to have to deal with. “If [a guy] wants to be friends with me, just know people are going to say we’re dating,” she says.
Next up for Taylor are the CMA Awards on November 6 and shortly after that she’ll become first female solo performer to tour Australia since Madonna did it 20 years ago.
