» Kip Moore Ready To Take It To The Rim Against Tim McGraw

Usually an opening act doesn’t trash talk the headliner on a tour, but when you’re Kip Moore and hold skills on the basketball court you do, especially when your hitting the road with Tim McGraw.

Over the years, Tim has made a name for himself playing hoops with his band and opening acts before shows. Kip had a basketball scholarship at Wallace State College in Alabama and says he’s ready to play.

“If I start beating up on him he may not wanna play anymore so I’m trying to figure out how I gotta handle that situation,” Kip told Taste of Country. He says the two of them have actually been talking smack for a few weeks. As for letting Tim win?

“I can’t do that,” Kip says. “That’s just not going to happen,” he says adding he might be out of a job by June.

Kip’s new song, “Dirt Road”, was a champion on the New Music Smackdown this week and will be on his next album which will be out later this year.
