» Hunter Hayes Sets Guinness Mark

Hunter Hayes will see his name printed in the Guinness Book of World Records. On Friday he successfully performed 10 shows in 24 hours. According to the official rules from the guinnessworldrecords.com the rules ito set the record were:

- The cities must be 31 miles (50 km) or more apart, with at least half of the cities having a population of at least 100,000, and all cities must have a population of more than 15,000.

- The concerts must be played in a recognized venue with a capacity of at least 300 people.

- The shows must be advertised and tickets must be available.

- Artist must play for a continuous 15 minutes at each show. 

Hunter teamed up with ConAgra Foods to help end child hunger, calling the run the ’24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger.’

“I’m so proud to get to work with them and all the sponsors. Thank you to all the fans for not only making history with us but also making this whole thing absolutely awesome,” said Hunter.

Hunter joins Taylor Swift in the record book. She holds five records.

He’ll be at the Bay Center in Pensacola on May 30 with Danielle Bradbery and Dan + Shay.
