Hunter Hayes Attempts World Record

And he’s off! Hunter Hayes has teamed up with ConAgra Foods to end child hunger while attempting to break the world record for the Most Concerts Played in multiple cities in a 24-hour period.

He is attempting to break the record by playing 10 shows in 10 cities in 24 hours. The current record is eight shows in 24 hours set by the Flaming Lips, who broke the previous record made by Jay-Z.

Hunter kicked off the “Hunter Hayes 24 Hour Road Race to End Child Hunger” this morning (Friday) on Good Morning America in New York City. He’ll also play Boston, Worcester, Massachusetts, Providence, Rhode Island, New London, Connecticut, New Haven, Connecticut, Stamford, Connecticut, South Orange, New Jersey, Asbury Park, New Jersey and Philadelphia to set the record.

Hunter comes to Pensacola for a show at The Bay Center on May 30 with Dan + Shay and Danielle Bradbery.
