Dierks Bentley Takes Unique New Year’s Plunge
Dierks Bentley made his annual New Year’s Day Polar Bear Plunge…kind of.
Usually, he’s in Nashville and goes to Percy Priest Lake for the annual jump, but the last couple of years he’s had a show in Orlando on New Year’s Eve and didn’t want to hop on the bus and ride back overnight so he’s taken the plunge there, albeit not very polar bear like.
Last year he went to a pond and jumped in. This year the pond was “occupied” as he tweeted Wednesday, “no lake today; had to improvise.” Apparently, the pond had an ‘Alligator Warning’ sign posted. So, he did the next best thing…
Dierks will play the Discover Orange Bowl halftime show tonight, as Ohio State plays Clemson at 7:30 on ESPN.
