Blake Shelton Covers Bob Dylan Song For Movie

Blake Shelton’s voice often goes under-appreciated, especially if he’s singing a fun, fast hit. But his talent for toning it down will be on display in movie theaters across the country as he covers Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” for the new family adventure film, ‘Max’.

The song acts as the theme song for the movie, and though it’s been covered a million times over, the voice joining Blake should be familiar at this point. It’s Gwen Sebastian, with sang with him on his number one song “My Eyes.”

The movie follows a troubled teen who finds comfort during his troubles in man’s best friend. The dog, a Belgian Malinois, was his brother’s military dog until he was killed while on duty in Afghanistan. Since the boy finds such a strong relationship with the dog, the family decides to adopt him.

The movie will be released June 26 and stars Robbie Amell (from TV’s The Flash), Thomas Haden Church (Sideways), Jay Hernandez (Nashville) and Lauren Graham (Parenthood).
