Afternoons 2pm-7pm
Name: That depends on if you're running a background check with
this.
Married/Single: Let me ask my wife which it is today.
Kids/Pets: Is there a difference?
Because of radio I got to...: See a lot of the country going
from job to job. Usually you have to pay for that experience.
I was getting paid to do it!
What would you do if you couldn't be on the air? Be a ski bum.
10 Things About Me You May Not Know:
1) All my life goals had to do with running, and I achieved
them all. The last was qualifying for the Boston Marathon,
and I did
(3 hours, 8 minutes). Now they revolve around traveling.
2) I don't have a favorite song.
3) Being on the radio is all I've ever wanted to do.
4) I was thrown out of a Cubs game once for throwing a baseball
back onto the field after a homerun.
5) I rarely watch network TV. Discovery Channel, History Channel
or something sports is usually on my TV.
6) I don't remember the last day I didn't wear a hat. It's
been over 15 years.
7) I'm terrified of needles. Just the sight of them makes me
feel sick.
8) I like horror movies.
9) My father's a doctor, my mother owned a bar which means,
genetically, I was destined to have the worst handwriting known
to man.
10) I don't get star struck. I don't care how much their pants
cost, they put them on the same way I do.

It all started on a snowy day in Buffalo. I walked into the press box at Rich Stadium and saw the Bills long-time play-by-play man, Van Miller, calling a game and from that moment I knew I wanted to be on the radio.
My
first love was sports radio, but after hearing horror stories
of long bus trips, I opted
for the music side. Thus, here I am. I've worked my
way across the country and back doing this job I love in great
cities like Denver, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Chicago, to
name a few. My musical tastes are broad. I grew up with everything
from 50s rockabilly to Motown playing in the house, and having
3 older sisters introduced me to disco, New Wave, and great
bands like U2, REM and The Cure in the early 80s. I was a hair
band guy for a long time and found country music when I went
to college in Indiana. I've worked in other formats, but I
keep coming back to country
because of listeners like you!
I'm happy to have found my way to Pensacola.
I'm loving the beach and having a great time meeting
all of you. I'm always answering the Cat Phone and having
fun. Feel free to hit me up on it anytime, 430-1-987, and be
ready! For what I have no idea. It depends what's running
through my mind at the time, which is half the fun!!
