Born and raised in Modesto, California,
Brent started working on-air at KTRB 860am at age 14, while he was
in highschool. By age 18, Brent was managing the weekend shifts
at KTRB and beginning to do voice over work professionally. At Modesto
Junior College in 1992 at KRJC, Brent did his first morning show. In
August of 1994, Brent moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State
University and finish his B.A. In the Fall of 1996, Brent began working
full-time as the Morning Show Producer/Side-kick at Oldies 94.9. In
1998, Brent finished his MA and Master's Thesis at San Diego State
University, where was also an adjunct Professor at University of
San Diego in the Communications Department. After Grad School
Brent kept himself busy running and advertising agency and working
as the mid-day air personality at KSON.
Brent met his wife in San Diego and they have 3 children. They relocated to Pensacola to get away from the maddening traffic and congestion of a large city and couldn’t be happier. Brent loves the beach, the community and is looking forward to a long career in Pensacola. It’s a great place to raise a family. Brent can be heard every morning on the Cat Pak Morning Show with co-host Dana Cervantes.
