Trace Leaves Rehab For A Guitar

The most powerful songs are the ones that come from life and maybe that’s what Trace Adkins is up to as he left alcohol rehab to buy a new guitar over the weekend.

He visited Chafin Musicenter in Lake Worth, FL, as evidence of this picture posted on their Facebook page Saturday. TMZ reports he was escorted to the store by employees of the rehabcenter.

Two weeks ago Trace was involved in an altercation with an impersonator on a cruise ship. He admitted to falling off the wagon after more than 10 years sober, which prompted him to exit the cruise in Jamaica and get help.

Miranda Spreads Loves For Animals To 50 States

Miranda Lambert has now spread her love of animals to all 50 states. Her MuttNation Foundation has announced their “Mutts Across America: 50 States/50 Shelters” initiative, which finds the most deserving animal shelters in each of the 50 states and donates money to them.

Miranda says, “We are thrilled to be able to reach out to every state and recognize shelters and organizations working at a grassroots level to help animals. It’s those people on the ground, day in and day out, who really make a huge difference.”

Each shelter that received a donation as part of the initiative was chosen by a certain set of criteria.

Randy Houser has released the video for “Goodnight Kiss.” T

Filmed at the historic Fontanel Mansion in Nashville and is the grand finale to a trilogy following the development of young love in couples from his last two videos for “How Country Feels” and “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight.”

The same actor and actress that depict the couple in the “Goodnight Kiss” video also starred in Randy’s two previous videos.

Country Music Gets Into Awards Season

The nominees for the 49th Academy of Country Music Awards will be announced this Wednesday, January 29 at 9AM CT on the ACM Facebook and Twitter pages.

Beth Behrs, from the show 2 Broke Girls and a veteran from Lady Antebellum’s video for “Downtown”, along with Lucy Hale, Jerrod Niemann, Willie and Korie Robertson from Duck Dynasty, Darius Rucker and more will be a part of the team that announces the nominees through posted videos.

The 2014 ACMs, o-hosted by Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan, will be held in Las Vegas on April 6 at 7PM.

Darius Rucker On “Tonight Show”

Darius Rucker had the honor of being one of the last acts to perform on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Jay wraps up his run as host next Thursday, and last night Darius took his turn sending Jay off with his new ballad “Miss You.”

Darius brings his True Believers tour with the Eli Young Band and Corey Smith to The Wharf on April 26.

Miranda Lambert Draws Special Assignment At Grammys

Miranda Lambert will join Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong for a tribute to Phil Everly of the Everly Brothers at the Grammy Awards on Sunday. CBS put this picture of them rehearsing on their Instagram page.

During the annual ‘In Memoriam’ segment, the two will honor Phil, who passed away on January 3. Although not confirmed, it’s rumored they will perform The Everly Brothers hit, “When Will I Be Loved.”

Besides the new assignment, Miranda is up for a few awards including Best Country Solo Performance, a category she finds herself up against her husband, Blake Shelton.

The 2014 Grammys are Sunday night (January 26) on CBS at 7PM CT.
